2025 Vision Shenzhen International Eyewear Expo & Smart Wearables Exhibition
Recently, the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce announced that the 2025 Vision Shenzhen International Eyewear Expo & Smart Wearables Exhibition will be held from June 25 to 27 at Hall 2 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian). Over 300 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and over 50,000 professional attendees, including industry leaders, are expected to gather in Shenzhen to explore the intelligent future of the eyewear industry.
At the same time, the 2025 Shenzhen International Eyewear (Smart Wearables) Design Competition and the 9th Henggang Eyewear Designer Selection will be held. Five thematic forums will explore innovations in smart wearable technologies and global brand expansion strategies, while eight supporting events—from design competitions to supply-demand matchmaking meetings—will fully energize the industry.
Kou Ningyan, Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Enterprise Services Group Co., Ltd., stated at the press conference that this year’s expo centers on the integration of “traditional eyewear + smart wearables”, with the exhibition area expanded by 95% compared to 2024, reaching 15,000 square meters. Among the nine major exhibition zones, three innovative sections are particularly eye-catching.
The expo will focus on technology-industry integration, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and products. Yash Optical’s millisecond photochromic lenses break through the limits of optical response speed, demonstrating Shenzhen’s leadership in precision manufacturing and quality control. Kou emphasized:
“These innovations are not just technological breakthroughs but benchmarks for cross-industry integration.”
A global first, the “AI Eyewear Industry Chain Ecosystem Zone” will present a complete supply chain—from chip R&D and sensor manufacturing to final assembly. With over 80% of key processes localized in Shenzhen, the city once again proves its strength as the “Hardware Silicon Valley” of the world. Meanwhile, the “45-Year Henggang Eyewear Industry Retrospective Exhibition” will use archival media and physical exhibits to tell the story of how Henggang evolved from household workshops into the “Global Hub for Premium Eyewear Manufacturing.” Today, Henggang produces 125 million pairs of glasses annually, holds over 50% of the global premium market share, and has an annual output value exceeding 100 billion yuan.
The international lineup is equally dazzling. Traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation will converge with the handmade frames of France’s Opal Demetz, century-old techniques from Spain’s Cottet, minimalist designs from Japan’s Masunaga, and smart dyslexia glasses from France’s Abeye, along with sports optics from Spain’s FLiPO. Platforms like TikTok and Google will collaborate to bring 12,000 international buyers to view the expo online, building a global cooperation bridge for participating brands.
